We are excited to announce our 2011 signature pop-culture exhibit ROCK U: THE INSTITUTE OF ROCK ‘N’ ROLL.

This summer will rock!  Our 2011 custom designed exhibit will be an interactive adventure into one of America’s greatest institutions…Rock and Roll. “ROCK U: THE INSTITUTE OF ROCK ‘N’ ROLL” will debut at the California State Fair in July 2011 and then will begin a two year North American tour. The exhibit will feature interactive stations covering the different origins of this great music genre.

Attendees will be greeted by our “media tower”, an infused art sculpture of memorabilia, tv monitors, speakers, rock instruments as they start on their journey. Our design focuses on three distinct ways we’ve experienced Rock ’n’ Roll through the years. First, “The Studio Experience”, will display highlights of the early days of the recordingprocess, featuring costumed characters of Elvis, Buddy Holly and others. Second, “The Concert Experience”, an interactive multimedia display celebrating the live performance aspects of Rock ’n’ Roll, incorporating an extensive collection of Rock posters, unique vintage wardrobe and a listening station focusing on live performances of the world’s favorite bands. This area will also examine how we’ve listened to the music over the yearsfrom the large living room console radio from the 1950’s players all the way to currentmusic player technologies such as the ipod and mp3’s. Our third area “The Playing Experience”, allows the audience to wander through and experience different interactivestations that will allow them to play and explore the basic instruments in any rock band.The exhibit will also have a “Rock College” where demonstrations and talent will be onhand to perform on a regular schedule.

True to our interactive exhibits of the past, “It’s only Rock ‘n’ Roll”, will encompass the quality one of a kind experience our guests and clients have come to expect.
