This is an authentic MAPO-built Series A-1 Audio-Animatronic frame from the Disney casting system. It was designed for that the parts could be interchanged as necessary, some of the mechanics of this figure date to the 1960s, while others are more modern.
The A-1 series of figures have been pivotal in the creation of some of the most iconic attractions , including the human characters in Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion, and many other attractions at the Disney parks around the globe.
